Mrs Brownie McRae Saunders, age 90 of Pekin Road, Candor died Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Autumn Care of Biscoe.A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday December 4 at Bruton Family Cememetery conducted bu Rev. Jack Phillips.Mrs Saunders was born May 23, 1927 in Montgomery Countty to William McRae and Willie Brown McRae.  She was a homemaker and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.  She was married to Elwood Saunders wwho preceded her in death.She is survived by a son, Chuck Saunders of Candor; daughters Janice Robinson of Troy and Cathy Perrington of Sanford; brother Joesph McRae of Topsail Beach; 5 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is serving the family.
