Brian Walser

Mr. William Brian Walser, age 44, went home on March 31, 2021 to be with his Lord and Saviour, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor his Legacy.

Brian will be planted at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 3 ^rd , at Greater Vision Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Henry Craven and Rev. Keith Letterman officiating.

He will lie in state on Friday from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Briggs Funeral Home and the Family will receive friends at the residence on Thursday evening.

Brian was born in Davidson County on April 26, 1976 to Rex Bennett Walser and Pamela Childress Walser Surratt.  Brian was a member of Greater Vision Baptist Church.  He was so passionate about his love for God, family and never met a stranger.  Brian worked for Colonial Materials, a division of GMS (Gypsum Management Supply Co.) He loved his co-workers just as much as he did his own Family.  His pleasant demeanor and laughter were contagious to everyone he met.  The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Brian. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by a grandfather, Benny Walser and grandparents, Haywood & Gladys Childress.

Brian was a devoted Christian, Faithful Husband and beloved Father.  He is survived by his Wife, Angela Nance Walser of almost 8 years; sons, William Bennett Walser of the home, James Scofield (Angel) of Cary, Triston and Houston both of the home; a daughter, Brianna Vivian Walser of the home; mother, Pamela Surratt and stepfather Allen Surratt of Denton; grandmother, Charlotte Walser of Lexington.
