Brenda Sheppard

Ms. Brenda Sue Sheppard age 77, a resident of Peeler Rd. Salisbury passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017 at her residence. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, March 6 at Rock Grove United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Brian Crady, Rev. Jamie Hamrick, and Rev. Randy Lucas. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 7 at Candor Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Shepard officiating. Brenda was born February 18, 1940 in Montgomery County to Paul and Edna Hargett Sheppard. She was a graduate of St. Andrews College and was a teacher for 30 plus years at South Rowan High School in China Grove. Brenda was a member of Rock Grove United Methodist Church and she enjoyed going to the coast on fishing trips. In addition to her parents Brenda was preceded in death by brothers, Dorris and Paul Sheppard. Surviving are brothers, Ronald Shepard and wife Pearl of Star, Donald Sheppard and wife Joyce of Troy, John Sheppard of Troy, and Frank Sheppard and wife Lynn of Mt. Airy; sisters, Shelby Sheppard of Candor and Nancy Sheppard Allred and husband Donald of Candor; sisters-in-law, Marie Sheppard and Joyce Shepard; and several nieces and nephews.
