Brenda Burris Johnson

Mrs. Brenda Faye Burris Johnson age 69, of Crouch St. Troy, NC passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Autumn Care in Biscoe. A graveside service will be held at Southside Cemetery in Troy at 3:00 pm Tuesday, Oct. 4. Brenda was born November 28, 1946 in Montgomery County to William Burris, Sr. and Ola Parsons Burris. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents Brenda was also preceded in death by sons, Jamie Johnson and Jimmy Johnson, Jr. Survivors include, husband, Jimmy Johnson, Sr. of the home; son, William Johnson of Troy; daughter, Kim Martinez of Troy; brothers, Lester Burris and William Burris, Jr. both of Troy; 16 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. The family will greet friends at Briggs Funeral Home in Troy on Tuesday from 1:00 to 2:30 pm and other times at the residence on Crouch St. in Troy.
