Brandon Scott Owens age 24, of Lick Creek Ch. Rd., Denton died Monday, February 24, 2014 at Thomasville Medical Center. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Mike Irby, Rev. David Irby, and Rev. Norman Henderson. Brandon was born June 18, 1989 in Davidson County to Kenny Owens and Donna Sue Graves Owens. He was a graduate of South Davidson High School. He worked for Terry’s Tees and attended True Worship Church. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents; George and Dora Ana Owens. In addition to his parents he is survived by his brothers; Jared Keith Owens of the home and Dalton Graves of Denton, sister; Amber Graves of Denton, maternal grandparents; Donald and Joyce Graves of Denton. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence on Lick Creek Ch. Rd.
