Bobby Tysinger

Bobby Ray Tysinger, 74, of NC HWY 8, Lexington died Wednesday, September 03, 2008 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 6 at Floyd Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Dickens officiating. Burial will follow in the Owens Family Cemetery. Mr. Tysinger was born November 6, 1933 in Davidson County to Chalie Nathan and Bessie Owens Tysinger. He was a member of Floyd Baptist Church and had worked at Thomasville Furniture Industries. Mr. Tysinger was preceded in death by a son Ricky Nelson Tysinger and a brother, Fred Tysinger. He is survived by his wife, Rosa Lee Atkins Tysinger of the home, a son, Billy Joe Tysinger of Concord, two daughters, Bobbie Tysinger Morris of the Reeds community and Penny Tysinger Diehl of Lexington, one brother, Charlie Tysinger of Lexington, one sister, Martha Perryman of Lexington and grandchildren, Merinda Morris Davis, Richard Morris, III, Tanzy Sunshine Lanier, Shannon James Diehl, Dusty Ray Diehl, Nathaneal Tysinger and Kurtis Tysinger. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence on N. C. Hwy. 8.
