Bob Judy

Mr. Robert Lee (Bob) Judy, age 74 of Mountain Shore Drive, Denton, NC died Tuesday, November 12 at Forsyth Hospital in Winston-Salem. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, November 15 at Briggs Funeral Home. Mr. Judy’s body will be sent to Adams Mason Funeral Home in Akron, Ohio Interment will be held Wednesday, November 20 in Hillside Memorial Park in Akron, Ohio. Mr. Judy was born April 15, 1939 in Tucker County West Virginia to Clarence Glenn Judy and Laura Bubar Judy. He was a retired plant engineer with Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company and had lived in the Denton area for 17 years. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church in Denton and a member of Denton Lions Club. He was also a member of the Wheel Horse Collectors Club and the Ford Shays “A” Club. He was preceded in death by a daughter Karen Judy, his parents and by a brother and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife Barbara (B.J.) Norton Judy of the home; a son Rob Judy and wife B.J. of Pfafftown; a daughter Cheryl Sultan and husband Aaron of Rolesville; sisters Ethel Herald of Akron, Ohio and Glenda Gamble of Melbourne, Fla; grandchildren Karen, Melissa, Julie, Laura, Adam and Beth Sultan, and Landon and Gracie Judy.
