Billy Smith

Mr. Billy Ray Smith, age 65, of Big Country Lane, Denton, NC died November 12, 2018 at Lexington Health Care Center in Lexington. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Claudie Harrison officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home. Billy was born on September 18, 1953 in Davidson County to Willard and Grace Smith. Mr. Smith was a carpenter and mechanic.  He is preceded in death by his father. Billy is survived by his daughter, Natasha Smith Arnold and husband Todd of Denton; mother, Grace Smith of Denton; two brothers, Danny Smith and wife Myra and Jeff Smith and wife Melissa both of Denton; girl-friend, Ida Potts of Denton and two granddaughters, Saylah and Jenna Arnold.
