Mr. Billy Carson Sanders, Jr. age 40 of NC Hwy 109 South, New London, NC died Thursday, December 16 at his residence. (Editor, This is in Davidson County) A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 19 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Derald Smith. Burial will follow at Eleazer United Methodist Church. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton. Mr. Sanders was born in Montgomery County September 12, 1970 to Billy C. Sanders, Sr. and Brenda Hurley Sanders. He had last worked in the textile industry. He is survived by his wife, Tammy Cockran Saunders of the home, a daughter Megan Nicole Sanders of the homes; father Billy Sanders, Sr. of Denton and mother Brenda H Sanders of New London; brother James Allen Sanders of High Point; sisters, Amanda Carter of Southern Pines, Brenda Arlene Sanders of New London and Wendy Metcalf of Denton.
