Billy Carson Sanders

Billy Carson Sanders, Sr., age 67, of Denton died Monday, August 18 at Forsyth Medical Center following a brief illness. A Celebration of his life will be held from 6 to 8 pm Saturday at the home of the daughter, Wendy Metcalf at 1350 Yates Road, Denton. Mr. Sanders was born March 13, 1947 in Davidson County to Carson and Mary Barnes Sanders. He had worked at Klopman Mill for 30 years. He is survived by one son, Allen Sanders of Thomasville, three daughters, Amanda Carter of Southern Pines, Brenda Arlene Sanders of New London and Wendy Metcalf of Denton, one brother, Paul Sanders of Whiteville and two sisters, Jane Parrish of Seagrove and Diane Carter of Sophia, ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
