Billy Gene Holleman, Sr.

Billy Gene Holleman, Sr., aged 61, of Denton, NC, passed away peacefully at his residence on May 6, 2025. Born on October 6, 1963, in Bluefield, WV, Billy was the beloved son of the late Russell Lee Holleman and Louise Sizemore Holleman.

Billy dedicated his career to the furniture industry, working as a press operator. He was a cherished husband to Sharon Cogar Holleman and a loving father to his son, Billy Holleman, Jr. He is also survived by his brothers, Jackie Holleman and Johnny Holleman, and his sisters, Drema Blankenship, Judy Palmer, Shelby Smith, and Bonnie Roark.

He was predeceased by his son, Chad Holleman, and his siblings, James Holleman, Roger Holleman, Janie Price, Betty Presnell, Carol Atkins, and Patricia Christian.Billy enjoyed fishing and riding four wheelers with his son, Billy Holleman, Jr.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 9, at Cogar Family Cemetery in Webster Springs, WV. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton, NC.
