Billy Wayne Hicks, 49, of Tarry Church Rd., Biscoe, died Sunday, June 26, 2016 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Bucky Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Billy Wayne’s residence. Born August 19, 1966 in Montgomery County, he was the son of Jimmy and Judith Lewis Saunders. He was employed with Grede Corporation in Biscoe. He is survived by his wife, Brigette Baughman Hicks of the home; son, Billy Hicks of Star; 2 stepsons, Gage Baughman of Biscoe and Kyle Little of Wilmington; 2 daughters, Tasha Hicks of Charlotte and Tina Chappell of Troy; 2 step-daughters, Chelsea Marks (Jason) of Aberdeen and Sara Little of Wilmington; his parents, Jimmy and Judith Saunders of Biscoe; brother, Rodney Hicks of Biscoe; his aunt, Carol Williams (Clyde) of Lakeview NC and 9 grandchildren who loved him very much. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 PM Thursday prior to the service at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home. Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
