Billy Ray Cagle

Billy Ray Cagle, Sr., of Burrow Street, Troy, died Monday, April 1, 2024 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.  Graveside Services with military honors will be 2:00 PM Friday, April 5, 2024 at Southside Cemetery in Troy, with Rev. Russ Brown officiating.

Born in Montgomery County on February 27, 1935, the son of Henry Theron and Georgia Madge Mullinix Cagle.  He was a veteran of the US Army, obtaining the rank of Corporal and serving during the Cold War.  He was a member of First Wesleyan Church.  Billy worked for 18 years with Alliene Furniture and 22 years with Carter Furniture.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Brown Cagle and his son, Billy Ray Cagle, Jr.

Mr. Cagle is survived by his daughter, Tina Cagle Beaman (Roy) of Troy; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
