Bill Schmidt

Mr. William Fred (Bill) Schmidt, Jr age 80 of West Devonshire Ave., Seven Lakes NC died Wednesday, September 9 at his residence. A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, October 16 at 4:00 PM in the Crawford Center of West End Presbyterian Church, 275 Knox Lane, West End, NC 27376. Mr. Schmidt was born December 11, 1934 in Hamilton County, Ohio to William F Schmidt, Sr and Victoria Woelfle Schmidt. He was a retired school teacher in the Moore County School System. He is survived by his wife, Jean Kuhn Schmidt of the home; a son, Kirk William Schmidt of Chapel Hill; a daughter Sorien Schmidt Brenneman and husband Kurt of Raleigh; grandchildren, Ethan Bernneman and Samuel Brenneman. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Seven Lakes Kiwanis Club, 5151 Beulah Hill Church Road, West End, NC 27376 for the Back Pack Program or Computers for West End Elementary School Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is serving the family.
