Beulah Moore Strickland, 75, of Summerville Ch. Rd., Denton, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at her residence.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Friday, April 9 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Billy Dunigan. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens.
Beulah was born in Haywood County on January 17, 1946 to John Dee Moore and Alma Elizabeth Ledford Moore. She was of the Baptist Faith an had worked for Burlington Industries and Denton Tractor. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Gary Glenwood Strickland; a son, Timothy Daniel Strickland; brothers, R.L. Moore and Carl Moore.
She is survived by a son, Tracy Strickland; 4 grandchildren, Hatti, Jordan, Dawson, and Justin; 5 great-grandchildren, Cameron, Lauren, Mason, Logan, and Ayden; brothers, Lewis Moore, Johnny Moore, Ralph Moore, Larry Moore; sisters, Elizabeth Franklin and Marie Dunigan.
The family will greet friends on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 am prior to the service and other times at the residence.
