Beulah Pierce

Mrs. Beulah Lambeth Pierce, age 94 of Woods Dairy Road, Denton died Tuesday, December 18 at the residence of her son. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, Dec. 21 at Walters Grove Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Jeremy Simpson and Rev. Jody Harrison. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Pierce was born June 7, 1914 in Davidson County to Elzie Lambeth and Maggie Grubb Lambeth. She was a retired employee of Thornton Knitting Company and a member of Walters Grove Baptist Church. She was married to Joseph Thomas (Joe) Pierce for 75 years who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a son, Alton Pierce and a daughter Sandra Adams. She is survived by a son, Eugene Pierce and a daughter Betty Sue Hill both of Asheboro. She has 9 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren. She has sisters, Hazel Briles and Magdalene Lambeth both of Lexington, Sally Gallimore and Ola Pierce both of Thomasville and Minnie Anderson of Asheboro.
