Beulah Hughes

Miss Beulan Merl Hughes, age 76 of Sunbridge Nursing Home, Asheboro and formerly of South NC Hwy # 109, New London, NC died Friday, Nov. 9. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, Nov. 13 at Pine Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. Miss Hughes was born August 21, 1931 in Randolph County to John Hughes and Elizabeth Loflin Hughes. She was preceded in death by a sister Lula Swaney and brothers Albert Hughes, Robert Lee Hughes and Wade Hughes. She is survived by sisters, Mae Hughes of Asheboro and Effie Gearren of New London. The family will see friends from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM Tuesday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton..
