Beulah Garren Hughes

Mrs. Beulah Pearl Garren Hughes, age 78, of Denton died Friday, July 1 at Randolph Hospital. Funeral service for Mrs. Hughes will be 3:00 pm Sunday, July 3 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Bill Foust officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 pm Sunday, prior to the service, at Briggs Funeral Home. Mrs. Hughes was born October 13, 1932 in Randolph County to Walter and Lula Mae Hughes Garren. She was retired from Denton Hosiery Mill. Mrs. Hughes was preceded in death by her husband Charlie C. Hughes, son, Leroy Hughes and grandson, Michael Parrish. She is survived by one son, Roger Dale Hughes of Denton and one daughter, Brenda Parrish of Denton, three grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
