Betty Robinson

Betty Sue Sedberry Robinson, age 73, of Doodle Dr., Candor, died Thursday, August 9, 2012 at her residence. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Sardis United Methodist Church with Rev. Glenn Hancock and Rev. Bo Treadway officiating. Interment will follow in the Candor Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 to 8 PM at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Mrs. Robinson was born July 13, 1939 in Montgomery County to Mott Blair Sedberry and Nina Dennis Sedberry. She was a member of Sardis United Methodist Church and was a cook at Eckerd Youth Alternative Disabilities Childrens Camp. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Robinson on January 31, 1987, a grandchild, Derek Voncannon and a great-grandchild, J.D. Long. Survivors include, sons, John Walter Robinson of Candor, Jeffery Blair Robinson of Biscoe, Eric Brent Robinson of Candor and Christopher Leon Robinson of Candor; daughters, Judith Dayle Saunders of Candor, Janet Gayle Fulp of Candor and Angela Joy McIntyre of Mt. Gilead ; brothers, Everett, Bud and Teddy Sedberry, all of Troy; 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
