Betty LaFell Parsons

Elizabeth "Betty" Reid LaFell Parsons, 70, of Biscoe, NC, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, December 15, 2025. Born on January 8, 1955, in Chicago, IL, she was the beloved daughter of the late Eddie LaFell and Violet Ray LaFell.

Betty had an extensive career, serving as a manager in retail sales and restaurants including Wendy's, McDonald's, Subway, and at Quik Chek. Her work ethic and dedication were evident in every position she held, earning her the respect and admiration of her colleagues and customers alike.

Betty was a woman of faith, embracing her Christian beliefs throughout her life. She found joy in a multitude of hobbies, including reading, gardening, and collecting salt and pepper shakers. An animal lover at heart, she especially cherished her dogs, who brought her immeasurable happiness.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Willard Parsons, with whom she shared 40 wonderful years. Betty is also survived by her sons, Alex LaFell and J.C. Freeman, and her sisters, Debbie LaFell and Deanne LaFell. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Sam LaFell, Rachel LaFell, Evan Freeman, and Destiny Honeycutt.

Betty is preceded in death by her brothers, Eddie and Jimi LaFell. Her warm spirit, loving nature, and dedication to family and friends will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of Betty`s life will be held at a later date.
