Betty Rae Jones

Betty Rae Jones, 92, of Asheboro, died Friday, July 9, 2021 at Beacon Place in Greensboro. Graveside Service will be 11:00 AM Monday at Jackson Springs Cemetery. Born in Hanover County on May 3, 1929, she was the daughter of Truit T. Jones. Betty had retired from retail sales. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Martha Mae Jones. She is survived by her younger sister, Maybelle Taylor of Lexington; nephew, Ron and Detria Turner of Norwood; niece, Paula Slate of Greensboro; 2 great-nieces, Lacey Turner and Samantha Ball and family. Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
