Mrs. Betty Jean Embler Hulin age 81 of Jackson Creek Rd., Denton died Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Randolph Hospice House. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, March 12 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Randall Macon. Burial will follow at Pierce’s Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Hulin was born November 27, 1934 in Davidson County to Robert “Bob” Embler and Renady Wilson Embler. She was a homemaker and a member of Gospel Way Church. Betty was preceded in death by brother, Raymond Embler and sisters, Annie Lane and Edna Sowers. Surviving is husband, Jay Hulin of the home; sons, R.C. Hulin of Lexington and Lester Hulin of Denton; 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the home of R.C. Hulin on Cid Rd., Lexington.
