Betty Hoover

Mrs. Betty Anderson Hoover, age 61 of North Main Street, Denton, NC died Saturday, August 27 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 30 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Kim Harris and Rev. Tim Gammons. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, August 29 at Briggs Funeral Home and other times at the residence on North Main Street. Mrs. Hoover was born in Rowan County August 5, 1955. She was a self employed landscaper and was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her husband, Reece Hoover of the home: daughters, Amanda Johnson of Denton, Carrie Hoover Sheinberg and husband Sam of Alexandria, Va. and Amber Hoover of Salisbury; grandchildren, Carter Johnson, Ian Johnson and Hadley Sheinberg; brothers Eugene Anderson of Lexington and James Anderson of Mocksville.
