Bertha Webb

Bertha Rider Kindley Webb, 85, of Meadows Retirement Home in Rockwell, formerly of Denton, died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006, at the retirement home. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Briggs Funeral Home, Denton, with the Rev. Claudie Harrison officiating. Burial will be in Canaan United Methodist Church Cemetery. She was a native of Davidson County, the widow of Leon Kindley and Harold Webb, a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Surviving are son, Tony Oscar Kindley of Denton; daughter, Betty Hunt of Denton; brothers, Aster Rider and Carl Rider, both of Silver Valley; sister, Edith Lambeth Gallimore of Lexington; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
