Bert Daniels

Mr. Bert Alison Daniels age 86, of Denton died Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Hinkle Hospice House. A funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, August, 2, 2015 at Summerville Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Flynn Richardson. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Daniels was born May 24, 1929, in Davidson County to William Clayton Daniel and Nina Snider Daniel. Bert was a member of Summerville Baptist Church and worked as a truck driver. In addition to his parents Bert was preceded in death by brothers, Bill, Edd, Woodrow, W.C., and Manley Daniel; sisters, Lala Williams and Nona Carrick. Surviving are wife, Peggy Wright Daniels; daughters, Theresa A. Daniels of Denton and Cathy D. Jones of Denton; step daughter, Jane Dominici of Honolulu, Hawaii; sisters, Dallas Snider and Dean Yates both of Denton; grandson, Daniel Humble of Denton. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence.
