Bennett Nooe

Mr. T. Bennett Nooe, age 80 of Reynolds Street, Troy, NC died Saturday, October 25 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 28 at First Wesleyan Church in Troy conducted by Rev. Jim Sheets and Rev. Doug Beadle. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mr. Nooe was born February 14, 1928 in Davidson County to Walter Nooe and Roberta Callicutt Nooe. He was a member of First Wesleyan Church, and was a veteran of the U S Army. He was the last surviving Charter Member of the Montgomery County Rescue Squad. Mr. Nooe was the retired owner/operator of Bennett Nooe Grading and Paving Company. He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Blalock Nooe of the home, a Son, Larry B. Nooe of Charlotte; a daughter, Greta Nooe of Charlotte; brothers. Howard Nooe of Troy and Don Nooe of El Paso, Texas; Half-Brothers, Walter Nooe of Troy and John Nooe of Asheboro; Grandchildren, Ashley Nooe Burris and husband Kevin and Jennifer Tiscarena; Great Grandchildren, Caitlin Ferland and A. J. Tiscarena. The family will see friends from 6:30 to 8:30 PM Monday, October 27 at First Wesleyan Church, and other times will be at the residence on Reynolds Street.
