Benjamin "Ben" Williams

Mr. Benjamin “Ben” Darrell Williams age 70, of NC HWY 49 S. Denton passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016 at Randolph Hospice House. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 17, 2016 at Gravel Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Kenneth Reeves, Rev. Ron Chaney and Rev. Claudie Harrison officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall and other times at the residence. Mr. Williams was born February 18, 1946 in Guilford County to Troy Holton Williams and Ruby Moore Williams. He had worked as Maintenance Technician for United Brass in Randleman. He attended Gravel Hill Baptist Church. Ben loved to fish, spending time with his family, and he loved to travel. Surviving are his wife, Linda Scarboro Williams of the home; sons; Derald Lee Williams of Asheboro and Mark Holton Williams and wife Regina of Lexington; sister, Delores Williams of Asheboro; grandchildren, Janette Gallimore, Michele Williams, and Joshua Williams; great-grandchildren, Trevor Gallimore, Olivia Gallimore, and Carter Hukill.
