Benjamin Bell

Mr. Benjamin Bell age 87 of Canaan Church Road, Denton NC went home to be with Jesus on Thursday, September 17, 2015. A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Monday, Sept. 21 at Faith Community Chapel on Faith Chapel Road, Thomasville conducted by Rev. Jonathan Heath, Rev. Joe Smith, and Rev. Derald Hunt. Interment will take place at Highland Cemetery #1 in Michigan. Mr. Bell was born March 21, 1928 in Osceola County, Michigan to Jacob Bell and Grace Mae Hollenbeck Bell. He was a retired building contractor. Mr. Bell was preceded in death by a son, Clayton L. Bell. He is survived by his former wife, Leora Jean Wing Bell; daughters Irene Smith of Denton, NC and Charlene McConihay of Battle Creek, MI; sons, Ken Bell of East Leroy, MI, Dennis Bell of Okeechobee, FL, and Richard Bell of Hastings, MI; brothers Eugene Bell of Athens, MI and Lloyd Bell of Saginaw, MI; 15 grandchildren and by many great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm on Monday at Faith Community Chapel prior to the funeral service.
