Beatrice Hunsucker

Mrs. Blanche Morris Hunsucker, age 86 of Mt. Gilead, NC died Thursday, June 3 at Britthaven of Piedmont in Albemarle. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pM Saturday, June 5 at Liberty Hill Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Hunsucker was preceded in death by her husband James Conley Hunsucker in 1990. She is survived by sons, Roger Hunsucker and wife Delois of Mt. Gilead, Gary Hunsucker and wife Gloria of Albemarle and Steve Hunsucker and wife Jane of Troy; brothers Walter Morris of Michigan and Odell Morris of Albemarle; sisters Martha Lawrence of Troy and Mary Hedrick of Albemarle; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday at Liberty Hill Baptist Church and other times will be at the residence on Honey Drive, Mt. Gilead. Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to Liberty Hill Baptist Church Building Fund, 569 Liberty Hill Road, Mt. Gilead, NC 27306. Briggs Funeral Home of Troy is in charge of arrangements.
