Barry Baum

Barry Moody Baum, 52, of Denton died Friday April 4 in Thomasville Medical Center after a short illness. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, April 5 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Vern Peterson officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. Mr. Baum was born July 11, 1955 in Randolph County the son of Garland and Marie Hunt Baum. He had worked for Councill Craftsman Furniture for many years. In addition to his parents, Mr. Baum is survived by his wife Joy Shaw Baum of the home, a daughter Amanda Baum of the home, and two brothers Michael Baum of Denton and Kelly Baum of Lexington.
