Barbara Webster Hinson

Barbara Webster Hinson, 81, formerly of Candor, died Friday, February 7, 2020 at FirstHealth Hospice and Palliative Care in Pinehurst.  Graveside Service will be 12:00 Noon Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Stanly Gardens of Memory in Albemarle NC. Barbara was born June 21, 1938 in Forsyth County, the daughter of Roy William and Sally Lou Newman Webster.    She had worked at Star Hosiery Mill.  She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Hinson, daughter, Joanne Harp, and son John Hinson. She is survived by 2 sons, Roy Hinson of Yelm WA, and Charles Hinson of Darlington SC; daughter Barbara “Bobbie” Prate (Bill) of St. Francis MN; 4 grandchildren, Lily Hinson, Keanan Hinson, William Prate (Shannon), and Zeb Hinson; 2 great-grandchildren, Kayla and Jessica Prate. The family will receive friend from 6 to 7 PM Wednesday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home.
