Arnold F Russell

The Service for Mr. Russell has been cancelled for Thursday and re-scheduled for 11:00 AM Friday, January 19, 2018 at New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery.   Mr. Arnold Fielding Russell, age 94 of Burney Mill Road, Denton, NC died Monday January 15 at his residence.   A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 18 at New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Bobby Lorton and Rev. J Harold Hammond.   The family will see friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm Thursday at New Hope United Methodist Church and other times will be at the residence on Burney Mill Road.   Mr. Russell was born April 27, 1923 in Randolph County to Everett Russell and Myrtle Reavis Russell. He was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church and was a self-employed farmer, sawmill operator and logger. He was married to Polly Robbins Russell who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by sons, Joe Russell and Bob Russell and daughter Myrtle Elizabeth Miller.   He is survived by adopted family Michael and Tammy Hulin, and their children, Gina Davis and husband Ryan, Abby Hulin and Emma Hulin and grandchild Cooper Davis.
