Mrs. Iris Arlene Wilson Covington, age 68, of Hwy 47, Denton NC, passed way on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at Lexington Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, October 6 at 12:00 p.m. at the Park Place, 26 N. Main St., Denton NC 27239. The family requests the joy of your company in celebration of Arlene’s life.
Arlene was born on January 27, 1956 in Richmond County to Doyle Wilson and Evelyn Dunn Wilson. She was a secretary at Austin Powder Company.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Mark Covington of the home; son, Shane Keith Gordon (Jennifer) of Charlotte; daughter, Sheena Easter (Eric) of Lexington; brother, Scott Wilson (Irene) of Denton; sisters, Sandra Lanier and Penny Johnson both of Denton; 5 grandchildren, Olivia, Luke and Logan Gordon & Morgan and Nolan Easter.
