Anna Ann Satterwhite

Anna Ann “Granny” Satterwhite, 86 of South NC Highway 109 Denton, died Friday evening at her home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 22 at Covenant Funeral Service in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday, May 20 at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton. Mrs. Satterwhite was born May 19, 1920, in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Satterwhite was preceded in death by her husband Henry Satterwhite who died in April 1985. Survivors include two sons: Marshall Howard, Jr. of Mineral, Virginia and Franklin Jordan of Stafford, Virginia; three daughters: Anna J. Satterwhite of Bowling Green, Virginia, Gloria J. Wright of Fredericksburg, Virginia and Linda Cook of Denton, NC; 20 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
