Mrs. Anna Mae Hulin Sexton, age 90 of Gallimore Road Denton died Sunday, February 17 at Wake Forest Baptist High Point Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, February 20 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Eddie Hill. Burial will follow in the Denton Town Cemetery. The family will see friends Wednesday from 1:00 until 2:30 at Briggs Funeral Home. Mrs. Sexton was born July 7, 1928 in Randolph County to Elzie Hulin and Lillie McDowell Hulin. Mrs. Sexton was a retired employee of Mountain Vista Health Park. She had also worked at Thornton Knitting Company and Burlington Industries Denton Plant. She was married to P Hansel Sexton who died in 1986. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jimmy Sexton and by her parents and sisters Lois Hunt and Doris Steed. She is survived by daughters, Rana Sexton White and LaVae Sexton Hughes and husband Haywood all of Lexington; daughter-in-law Jackie H Sexton of Denton; a brother Dalton Hulin and wife Ruby of Denton; sisters, JoAnn Crowe of Lexington, Inez Sexton and Shirley Kindley and husband Dallas all of Denton; grandchildren Gary Sexton, Daniel Sexton , Richard White, Jr. Tina Hughes, Joel Hughes and Lynette House; great grandchildren Amber Hughes, Kayla Skipper, Justin Skipper, Alexandra White and Gabriel Hughes..
