Mrs. Anna Lee Hardister Simmons age 85 of Burney Mill Road, Eleazer Community, Troy, NC died Sunday at Stanly Memorial Hospital in Albemarle A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 26 at 11:00 AM at Eleazer United Methodist Church, conducted by Rev. Edward Carter and Evangelist Micheal Simmons with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery Mrs. Simmons was born January 19, 1921 in Randolph County to James Allen Hardister and Bertha Harvell Hardister. She was a homemaker and a member of Eleazer United Methodist Church. She was married to J. Everette Simmons who died July 20, 1998. She is survived by sons Wayne Simmons of Denton and Danny Simmons of Eleazer Community, Troy, a brother Charles Hardister of Eleazer Community, Troy and sisters Maxine H.Richardson and Madalene H. Simmons both of Eleazer Community, Troy and Kathryn H. Russell of Blaine Community, Troy, 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence of the son Danny Simmons, 4966 Burney Mill Road, Eleazer Community, Troy,NC
