Mr. Alvin Russell, 62 of Denton died Thursday, December 20. Mr. Russell was born October 2, 1945 in Randolph County to Lonnie Russell and Irma Yates Russell. He is survived by daughter Sheila Kelemen of Asheboro and sisters Dot Shaw, Betty Gordon, Patty Parnell, Alma Rea Russell, Jane Chester and Ethel Woodlief. and 1 grandchild. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Sunday December 23 at New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service in the church.
