Alvin Ferrell

Mr. Alvin Lester Ferrell age 71, of Gallimore Rd., Denton passed away Monday, May 9, 2016 at Hinkle Hospice House. A memorial service for family and close friends was held. Mr. Ferrell was born June 22, 1944 in Davidson County to Samuel Ferrell and Grace Cox Ferrell. He was a truck driver. Surviving are wife, Pauline Latham Ferrell of the home; sons, Timothy Dale Ferrell and wife Elizabeth of Lexington, Terry Eugene Ferrell and fiancée Stephanie of Denton; daughter, Kimberly Renee Ferrell and husband John of Denton; brother, Bernard Ferrell and wife Inez of Thomasville; sister, Elizabeth Loflin and husband James of Denton; 7 grandchildren, Chrissy Swaney, David Doss, Katie Ferrell, Tiffany Ferrell, Torie Ferrell, William Ferrell, and Michael Leibacher; 1 great-grandchild, Levi Swaney. Memorials can be made to Hospice of Davidson County 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292. Cremation services were provided by Briggs Funeral Home.
