Alma Russell

Mrs. Alma Grubb Russell, age 88 of Wood Village Drive, Trinity, NC died Friday, November 12 at Hospice House at High Point. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 14 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Denton conducted by Rev. Kelly Creekmur. Burial will follow at Cid United Methodist Church Cemetery Mrs. Russell was born October 11, 1922 in Davidson County to Robert Grubb and Janie Lambeth Grubb. She was a homemaker and was married to Von Russell who died January 18, 1980. She was also preceded in death by 8 Brothers and Sisters. She is survived by a son, Dennis Ward of Trinity; a daughter Paulette Ward Badgett and husband Harry of Denton, a granddaughter Jane Badgett of Salisbury and a great grandson, Zachary Young. The family will see friends from 1:00 to 2:30 PM Sunday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton.
