Alma Parker Plowman DENTON — Alma Parker Plowman, 61, of South Snider Street, died Monday, July 10, 2006, at High Point Regional Hospital. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Grubbs Grove Original Covenant Church of God, where she was a member, with the Rev. Lacy Cagle and the Rev. Johnny Albertson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. She was a native of Richmond County and a homemaker. Surviving are husband, Richard Allen Plowman Sr. of Denton; son, Tommy Plowman of Denton; daughter, Rebecca Ann “Becky” White and husband David of Denton; brothers, Edward Parker of Wadesboro, Lewis Parker of Rockingham; sisters, Patricia McCool of Illinois, Janie Smith of Sanford, Emma L. Smith of Thomasville, Christine Parker of Ohio; two grandchildren. The family will be at Briggs Funeral Home, Denton, 6-8 p.m. Thursday, other times at 140 Carroll Ave.
