Alma Dorcus Loflin

Alma Dorcus Harrison Loflin, 75, of John Reid Rd., Denton, died Friday, October 11, 2024 at Atrium Health High Point Regional Hospital in High Point.  Funeral Service will be 3:00 PM Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at Goodwill Christian Church, with Rev. Melvin Morton officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2 - 3 PM prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.

Born in Davidson County on February 19, 1949, she was the daughter of Bryce and Florence Dorsett Harrison.  She was an assistant librarian with the Davidson County School System.

She is survived by her husband, Brink Loflin of the home; 2 sons, Damon Loflin (Deana) of Mt. Pleasant and Derrick Loflin (Tina) of Asheboro; sister, Debbie Ball (Terry) of Lexington; 4 grandchildren, Kaylee Loflin, Greenlee Loflin, Carly Blackmon and Amber Geelen; 3 great-grandchildren, Jayden, Emsley and Collen.

Briggs Funeral Home in Denton is in charge of arrangements.
