Allie Key

Mrs. Allie Sanders Key, 70, of McCallum Rd., Candor, died Friday, December 10, 2010 at her residence. A Celebration of Life will be 4:00 PM Sunday at Parsons Grove UMC with Rev. Bill Mitchell officiating, where she was a member. A covered dish pot luck supper will follow at Allie’s request. Mrs. Key was born in Montgomery County on December 12, 1939, the daughter of William Worth and Carrie Campbell Sanders. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Hiram, W.J. and Dee Sanders. She is survived by her husband, William Wesley Key of the home;5 daughters, Cathy Williams of Candor, Carrie Brock and husband Harold of Kill Devil Hills, Gail Harrison of Raeford, Wendy Locklear and husband Joe of Candor and Amy Coggins and husband Ted of Candor; a sisters, Carleen Hicks of Biscoe and a brother, Bobby Sanders of Candor; 13 Grandchildren, Tony, Angie, Phillip, Dusti, Harold, Callie, Cara, Charity, Riley, Robert, Ryan, Jared and Allie. The family will receive friends at the residence. Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
