Allene Hamilton

Mrs. Allene Deaton Hamilton, age 83 of South NC Hwy # 109, Denton, NC died Saturday, December 22 at Thomasville Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, Dec. 24 at Lineberry United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Derald Smith. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mrs. Hamilton was born April 22, 1924 in Montgomery County to Roy Deaton and Dena Tucker Deaton. She was a homemaker and a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church. Mrs. Hamilton is survived by her husband of 66 years, J. P. Hamilton, Jr. of the home. Sons, Joe Hamilton and wife Vickie, Bobby Hamilton and wife LeaAnn, Jimmy Hamilton and wife Teresa, Kim Hamilton and wife Ruby and Phillip (Chop) Hamilton all of Denton. A daughter Sherry Garner and husband Charles of Denton. Nine (9) Grandchildren and Five (5) Great Grandchildren. The family will see friends from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Sunday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and others times at the residence.
