Mrs. Ethel Allene Everhart Gallimore, age 80, of Snider Station Rd., Denton died Monday, June 27 at Lexington Health Care. Funeral service for Mrs. Gallimore will be 10:00 am Wednesday, June 29 at Tom’s Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Ralph Gaines officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the home on Snider Station Road. Mrs. Gallimore was born March 22, 1931 to Fred and Dovie Loflin Everhart. She was formerly employed with Burlington Industries and was a member of Tom’s Creek Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Reece C. Gallimore on October 19, 2007 and brothers, Richard Everhart, Dewey Everhart and Rudolph Everhart. She is survived by one son, Clifford Reece Gallimore and wife Glenda of Denton, one daughter, Faye Gallimore Greene and husband Ronald of Albemarle, sisters, Sylvia Hunsucker of Badin, Margie Whitley of Albemarle and Gladys Eudy of Oakboro, grandchildren, David Reece Gallimore, Jeremy Greene, Joanna Greene Russell and Julia Greene and great-grandchildren, Matthew Reece Gallimore, Emma Greene, James Greene, Ellie Russell and Hudson Russell.
