Alfred "Al" Eugene Snyder

Mr. Alfred (Al) Eugene Snyder age 88 of Denton Road, Denton, NC died Thursday, March 30 at his residence. A graveside service will be held AT 3:00 PM Sunday, April 2 at Lick Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will see friends at the residence. Mr. Snyder was born November 11, 1934, in Davidson County to Walter Snyder and Ethel Henderson Snyder. He was a retired veteran of the U S Air Force having served a total of 21 years. He later retired as the purchasing agent for Thermo Products. He was a member of Lick Creek Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and by sisters, Rachel Varner and Martha Jane Richardson and brothers Wayne Snyder and Dewey Snyder. He is survived by his wife Joan Lucas Snyder of the home; daughters Donna Myers and husband Alan of Lexington, Sherrie Macdermod and husband Glenn of Mooresville and Janice Snyder of Trophy Club, Texas; grandchildren Greyson Myers, and Alexandra Myers; step grandchild Casey Macdermod.
