Alfonso Gaona Benitez

Alfonso Gaona, 68, of Isabel Lane, Biscoe, died Friday, January 14, 2022 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.  Funeral Mass will be 12:00 Noon Friday, January 21, 2022 at San Juan Diego Catholic Church in Robbins.

Born in Mexico City, Mexico on December 23, 1953, the son of Alfonso Gaona Gaona and Jovita Benitez Mondragon.  He was a store owner in Biscoe.

He is survived by his wife, Ma Esveyda Benitez of the home; 3 sons, Carlos Gerardo Gaona Benitez of Troy, Semei Omar Gaona Benitez and Alfonso Abraham Gaona Benitez, both of Biscoe; 5 brothers, Noel Gaona Benitez, Jose Joaquin Gaona Benitez, Roberto Gaona Benitez, Rodolfo Gaona Benitez, Ricardo Gaona Benitez; 4 sisters, Amparo Gaona Benitez, Arminda Gaona Benitez, Ma. Del Rocio Gaona Benitez, and Leticia Gaona Benitez; 7 Grandchildren, Isabel Gaona Medina, Jonatha Gaona Medina, Omar Gaona Medina, Bella Gaona Reyes, Jankarlo Gaona, Shantal Gaona, and Jaylean Gaona.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 7 PM Thursday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home.
