Albert Lee Scarlett

Albert Lee Scarlett, 73 of Hathcock Rd., Mt. Gilead died Saturday, March 18, 2006 at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro. Graveside services will be held Monday, March 20, 2006 at 3:00 PM in the Jackson Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Denton, Conducted by Rev. Bobby Freeman and Rev. David Wensil. Mr. Scarlett was born July 1, 1932 in Randolph County to Henry Alford and Vonda Leen Hulin Scarlett. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a shipping clerk in the furniture industry. He is survived by his brother, Benny Scarlett of Mt. Gilead. The family will receive friends Monday from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Briggs Funeral Home in Troy. Other times at the residence on Hathcock Rd., Mt. Gilead.
