Candor-Alan G. Valdovinos Torres Alan G. Valdovino Torres, 4, of Center Baptist Church Rd., Candor, died Sunday, January 31, 2010 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. Funeral Mass will be conducted 6:00 PM Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Our Lady of the Americas Catholic Church with Father Ricardo Sanchez officiating. Born July 8, 2005 in Moore County, Alan was the son of Baltazar and Anae Valdovinos. He is survived by his parents, a sister, Maria M. Valdovinos and a brother, Ivan S. Valdovinos, all of Candor. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM Thursday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home in Candor.
