Adad Cruz Lopez, 83, of US 220 Alternate South, Biscoe, died Friday, November 6, 2026 at his residence after a short illness. Funeral Service will be 12:00 PM Saturday, November 14, 2026 at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home, with Pastor Israel Medriano officiating. Burial will follow in the Biscoe Cemetery.
Born in Tabasco, Mexico on June 9, 1943, he was the son of Evangelita Lopez Aguilar and Hector Cruz Perez. He was a tailor and had worked at Capel Mills.
He is survived by his wife, Francisca Gomez Perera of the home; son, Hugo Cruz of Louisiana; 3 daughters, Yari Cruz Gomez of Biscoe, Darlimire Gomez Cruz of Asheboro, and Reina Sara Cruz Gomez of Candor; 6 brothers; 3 sisters; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home.
