Aaron Edward “Turk” Stepp, 68, of Surratt Rd., Denton, died Wednesday, August 3, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. A Memorial Service will be 3:00 PM Saturday at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel in Denton. The family will see friends from 6:30 to 8:30 PM Friday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence of his daughter, Lynn Davis, Loflin Hill Rd., Trinity. Mr. Stepp was born December 5, 1942, in Mingo County, WV to Berman Marvin Stepp and Mary Elizabeth Ridgeway Stepp. He was the retired owner of Jackson Hill Upholstery. He was preceded in death by his wife, Diana Gail Walls Stepp in 1994. He is survived by a son, Aaron Edward Stepp II and wife Renee of North Myrtle Beach, SC; a daughter, Lynn Stepp Davis and husband Terry of Trinity; a brother, Berman Stepp of Denton; 3 sisters, Gail Hatfield of Burlington, Denice Blankenship of Oceana WV and Kathy Sue Blankenship of Ohio; 2 Grandchildren, Corey Joseph Stepp and Anna Marie Stepp; 1 Great-grandchild, Micah Hatley.
